Football Association Chartered Standard Development Club
The Club is extremely proud to achieve this status. This scheme was introduced by the Football Association in 1999 as a kite mark for Clubs to aim for. The Club has attained this mark and will work hard to continue to forge links with local schools in the area.

The Club has links with Junior schools in our area as well as a very well structured Club Junior Programme & voluntarily provides football coaching for both boys and girls. This award demonstrates to parents and the public that Wellington F.C. are a well organised and safe club.
Standards and Rewards. To achieve the award Wellington F.C. had to meet criteria set by the Football Association in conjunction with other bodies and agencies including:Self certified screening of Managers, Coaches and officials.

All club personnel CRB screened.
All Managers have completed as a minimum, an F.A Level One Coaching Course.
All Managers are required to attend a F.A Basic First Aid Course.
All Managers are required to attend a F.A Child Protection Course.
